10,500 feet in elevation, Mono Divide Basin. Sierra Nevada. A four day walk to this gorgeous lake filled canyon. Those are willow “trees” behind that beautiful marmot. Photo taken in 1985 with Kodachrome 64 transparency film. Rugged quiet beauty. Hope to get back there this summer!
